Attach files to messages
To send a file, press the button located under the text area on the message composition page.
In the “Upload file” window that opens, find the required files, select them and click Open. The files will be attached to the message and marked with appropriate icons. You can attach several files to a message. If you attached a file by mistake, remove the attachment by clicking the - - icon.
The maximum attachment size is 22 MB. The maximum total size when using multiple attachments is 30 MB.
If the attachment(s) size exceed the limit, the files will be uploaded to Yandex.Disk automatically, and the recipient will receive links for downloading them. The maximum size of a file uploaded to Disk is 2 GB. A message can contain an unlimited number of such attachments.
You can select uploading a file to Yandex.Disk directly. To do that, use the link located next to the “Attach files” button.
If you encounter problems when attaching a file, you can go to a standard upload method form by clicking the “Show standard upload method form” link.
Attention! Some mail services cannot process attachments sized over 10 MB. If you are not sure whether your recipient can receive a 30 MB message, distribute the attachments over several messages or use the Yandex.Disk file sharing service.
