What is Yandex.Images

Yandex.Images — allows you to search for images on the internet. We index images in the standard JPEG, GIF and PNG formats that are freely available on the internet.

Sometimes it's easier to view search results as a series of images as opposed to a list of pages. For example, when you're looking for new desktop wallpapers, embroidery patterns, or illustrations for a report. Yandex.Images can tell you instantly what a wolverine, or even profiteroles look like. It can even help you find your next holiday destination.

To begin searching, simply enter your query into the search bar and click «Search». You can also search images directly from the Yandex home page by following the "Images" link just above the search bar.

Images are sometimes shown directly in the search results page if they closely match the query. You can continue your search in Yandex.Images by clicking on this image.
